**DANCING ELEPHANT HOSTEL** was the very FIRST hostel, eight years ago to hit Haad Rin, the home of the monthly Full Moon Party!!!
Located in the heart of the famous Full Moon Village, a bustling, multi-cultural party spot, we are surrounded by beautiful beaches and people. Only a 1 minute jog from the actual Full Moon Party, putting you in the best location possible!
**BEST DAY TO ARRIVE**
We HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you arrive four nights before the Full Moon Party! Here it is a FESTIVAL, there are parties every night leading up to the Full Moon. Some say that these parties are even better than the Full Moon itself! AVOID checking out the night after the Full Moon Party, as it goes all the way until sunrise, and followed by an amazing AFTER PARTY.
There’s no strangers here, only friends you haven’t met yet.
**STREET PARTY**
During Full Moon week we are the unique. the ORIGINAL, the crazy ‘Street Party’, the ONE that makes us what we are today. Hundreds of party people from all countries, dancing to live sets by international guest DJ’s.
**MISSION**
We provide a clean and safe hostel, with vibrant character and colorful charm. Regardless of whether or not you’re traveling solo or in a group, you’ll be calling this home straight away.
**DAY TRIPS**
Get out of bed, hang overs aren’t that bad!!! There are many cool things to do in the day which are a whole lot better with 50 - 100 bunk mates all sliding and flying into water, enjoying sunsets on booze cruises and much, much more

Directions

**DIRECTIONS TO THE HOSTEL**
FROM HAAD RIN PIER: We are a two minute walk from the Haad Rin pier. You DO NOT need to grab a taxi to reach us. When you step off the boat, go straight down the road from the pier. Take your second left, followed by a quick right, and you’re here! You can’t miss our bright pink and yellow reception office :)

FROM THONGSALA PIER: After arriving in Thongsala pier you will take a short walk to the taxis. Let the taxi drivers that you are staying at DANCING ELEPHANT in HAAD RIN. The drivers will advise you which taxi to jump into, and you should be paying no more than 100 THB per person. If you opt to take a taxi motorbike, you’ll be paying closer to 200 THB. The taxis will be dropping people off at different locations around Haad Rin, so it will take approximately 25-30 minutes to arrive.

Policies

Pre-Payment Terms:
• Full Moon Period, 1000 THB per person and remaining balance on arrival
• New Year Period, 5000 THB per person.
On receiving you’re booking we will send you an email asking you to pay the pre-prepayment. You can do this using paypal or a credit card.

Full Refund of the prepayment you paid to us, up to 14 days before arrival.
- Booking must be made 24 hours prior to arrival and full payment is required on arrival
- For busy periods such as Full Moon Parties and New Years Eve, payment should be made as soon as possible via paypal. if we do not receive the payment within one week of the booking being made we have the right to cancel the booking on your confirmation letter at any time
- Paypal payments should be sent via paypal to our account( on your confirmation letter)
- Cancellation must be made 48 hours prior to 12pm on your arrival day
- In case of no show or late arrival the deeposit is lost.

**RULES (for everyone’s safety and sanity!) ***
No outside alcohol allowed on the premises
No food or drink (water is ok) allowed in the dorms.
No outside guests allowed in the dorms (protection of belongings)

**EXTRAS**
We provide towels, lockers, filtered drinking water, and free wifi. You will need to provide your own padlock for the lockers. All common areas and lockers under CCTV surveillance for the security of our guests and their belongings.

**TERMS & CONDITIONS**
Check in: 11am till 11pm
Check out: 11 am till 9 pm

Minimum stay:
• 5 nights for Full Moon Week
• 7 nights for New Year

**IMPORTANT**
