Chaplin Hostel Belgrade is a small family managed place, that offers high standard accommodation in a cozy and relaxing atmosphere. Nice and charming hostel for those who want to know a more authentic and less touristy neighborhood.
We are located in a quiet and safe residential area of the Belgrade, though not far from the city center. Skadarlija bohemian quarter, Republic Square, The National Theatre with its bars and restaurants are within short walking distance.
It's a great neighborhood in Belgrade quiet residential area, which has everything you need within a few blocks- grocery stores, bakeries, pharmacies, restaurants, shops, etc.
And it's so easy to get to other parts of Belgrade hop on the bus, which is a 2 minute walk from the apartment, and you are at the monuments, museums, parks, trendy areas of Belgrade in no time!
At the Chaplin Hostel we aim to provide backpackers and international travelers with a welcoming accommodation that offers clean, comfortable rooms that can suit you for a short or long stay as our guests. We do not charge for lockers, towels, or linens, and we can accommodate up to 9 people in two shared rooms within bunk beds, so we'll be sure to find room for you.
Most importantly, we make sure that our guests have fun and our friendly hosts are always there to advise you and ensure that you get the most out of your stay in Belgrade.

How to reach us?

With the bus and railway stations

At the station "Central Station", located on the island in front of the railway station, get on the tram 9L, which are driving 5 cells, to stop bulevar Despot Stefan." Then continue on foot to the bulevar Despot Stefan (first right), in which the station is Dzordza Vašingtona in which you enter in some of the buses 35, 43, 95 or 96, which go one station to station Cvijićeva. Then go back to the streets Cvijićeva (first left) and her walk to the street Čarlija Čaplina where our hostel is located at number 14 From the station to the hostel There are about 200m away.

Taxi transport on this route would be about 600 dinars/5 euros.


From the airport

Near the exit from the airport, on the upper level, there is a bus stop where the bus stops A1 and 72 thereof.
If you decide to line A1 (ticket price 300din, purchased from the driver), take the bus to the last stop (square "Slavia"), then at "Bulevar" on station "Slavija Square," waiting lines 33 or 48 ( ticket price around 150 din I purchased from the driver), the direction of Pancevo Bridge, which go 4 stops and get off at the station "Hala pionir." Then you enter the street "Jasa Prodanovic" (first left) and walkin to 'the street' "Carlija Caplina " where our hostel is located at number 14.
If you opt for the taxi ride, its price could be around 1800 dinars/15 euros for 20 km drive

House Rules
The hostel is in a residential building, so normal rules apply. Noise level should be kept to a minimum always, but in particular in between 10pm and 8am. No outside visitors in the apartment. Please keep apartment clean while there, and leave it in the same condition you found it in. No smoking apartment
