Owned and run by a Romanian/Irish couple, Felinarul promises a friendly welcome. The old house has been renovated with great attention to detail winning awards for its design and heritage restoration.
The intimate cobblestoned courtyard is a quiet oasis of calm in the heart of the old town, where guests can hang out in the shade and order an espresso or beer from the hostel's own small cafe.
The hostel also has a chill-out zone, complete with a well stocked library and a book swap. There are two common rooms and wi-fi throughout.
An organic home-made granola is served each morning free of charge with real coffee. And soon our VW camper van will be restored to offer guests tours of the quaint villages around Sibiu.
