Welcome to the newest hostel in Bucharest!

We strive to be one of the best hostels in Romania , where people feel at home while travelling in another country.

First Hostel has only mixed dorm rooms, available for those passing through and others who want to stay a while and just unwind. All our dorms are very well organised and have been specially fitted, so every bed has its own night stand, plug, USB charger and reading light.

We are all about quality. That's why our construction choices are non-toxic: we chose building products that were previously tested for their impact on human health because we know that the materials we build with can affect our wellbeing as much as the food we eat, the water we drink and the air we breathe.

First Hostel is perfectly located in the Unirii neighbourhood with easy access to the best Bucharest has to offer. Only 5 minutes walk to Unirii Metro Station (Piata Unirii), 7 minutes walk to our fun-filled old city, and 10 minutes walk to our famous Palace of Parliament.

Directions

From the Airport:
Take bus 783 from the airport Otopeni and get off at Unirii 2 stop (which is also the last stop on the route). Bus 783 goes 24 hours per day with a frequency of a bus each 20 minutes during daytime & a bus every 40 minutes during night time (22.30 – 5.30). You have to purchase a 2 way ticket which costs 9 lei, approx. 2 euros. You can find the kiosk in front of Arrivals Terminal, working hours: every day from 06:00 to 20:30.

At Unirii 2 stop get out off the bus, walk to your right straight for about 400 m on Bd. Dimitrie Cantemir until first big crossroad (it’s a big clock in the intersection), go left on Bulevardul Mărășești, walk for about 200 m, and First Hostel will be on your right. Welcome!

From the Trainstation (Gara de Nord):
Go to “Gara de Nord 1” subway station and get on the Yellow Line going to Pantelimon. At the 7th stop get off the train at Unirii Square (Piața Unirii) and take a right and get out of the subway station. As you’re climbing the stairs to get out, keep walking straight for about 400 m on Bd. Dimitrie Cantemir until 1st big crossroad (it’s a big clock in the intersection), go left on Bulevardul Mărășești, walk for about 200 m, and First Hostel will be on your right! Welcome!
