Traveler Reviews
“Full service!”
Great place to stay. Reception desk can arrange tours, there are activities that allow you to get to know fellow travelers and the area (walking tour, salsa class, mezcal experience, etc.), and...
“Don’t stay here if you need to sleep”
I was informed at 12:17 am that the loud, raucous noise that was filling the hostel was because it was a ‘party hostel.’ I’ve stayed in hostels my entire life. Had i known I would not get any sleep...
“Great location and place to meet people!”
I was solo traveling through Oaxaca and stayed several nights at Oaxaca hostel. It's an excellent place to meet other travelers, to find new friends, and to sign up for tours exploring the whole...
From the first class bus station (ADO) take a bus going west on the main street Calzada Héroes de Chapultepec. Catch any bus going to “Tinoco y Palacios.” All of them pass by our street, and a bus ticket is 6 Mexican pesos. The bus will go straight for about 1 km and then it will turn left on Joaquin Amaro Street (which becomes Tinoco y Palacios). 5 blocks ahead is the Quetzalcoatl junction, which is the stop you should get off at (just passing by the Sanchez Pascuas Market). You will find us just a few steps ahead, at 610 Tinoco y Palacios! From the Airport, the easiest way to get to Casa Angel is taking a taxi or a shuttle van. Go north on Simbolos Patrios to Periferico Avenue and take either 20 de Noviembre St (becomes Porfirio Diaz a few blocks later) or Diaz Ordaz (becomes Crespo later on). Both streets run parallel to Tinoco y Palacios. We are located 100 meters south from Sanchez Pascuas Market.
