Directions

Normal Way:

In ADO stations, they have a direct minibus that come from Cancun all days, stops are Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Tulum, Mahahual.

From Cancun, 6.30 in the morning, 430$

From Playa del Carmen, 7.30 in the morning, 390$

From Tulum, 8.45 in the morning, 360$

Just ask to get down at blue kay, 100m from the minibus stop.



Cheap Way, arriving in first afternoon.

In ADO station, buy a ticket of mayab service. You can buy at those times:

6.00, 7.00, 9.00, 10.30

Cancun -> Crucero de Cafetales (on the way to tulum, 10km after limones) 203$

Playa del Carmen -> Crucero de cafetales 180$

Tulum -> Crucero de cafetales 150$

After 14.00, every hour, there is a colectivo coming to mahahual, for 50$. Ask them to get off at blue key, you stop just in front.



Cheapest Way

In ADO, buy a ticket of mayab, at those times:

Cancun -> Limones 12.00 193$

Playa del Carmen -> Limones 13.10 160$

Tulum -> Limones 15.30

In limones there is a bus, "Caribe", at 18.00, for 40$, that comes to Mahahual.

In limones, you can eat just when you get off from bus, the best chicken with mole in the riviera maya, 50$, drink included.

Policies

Payment on arrival, keep some extra money, to live 2-3 days, ATMs here in mahahual are poor, often out of cash.
