Doma Hostel in Riga

Doma Hostel is a family owned hostel with the best location available in Riga center, the Old Town, facing Riga Town Hall and Town Hall square. Hostel was opened in January, 2006. Since then we have made experience in providing the best service to our guests. In September, 2012 we have moved to completely new building, few steps away from the old one. We have upgraded the new hostel with completely new showers, WCs and complete reconstruction was ended in March, 2013.
New beds and mattresses – we have equipped all of our beds with the mattresses of highest quality – the thickest and coziest mattresses in all Riga. The hostel is equipped with video surveillance and the front doors are closed for outsiders to guarantee the safety of our guests. Even the interior of our hostel is designed to make you feel like you are at home where you can have a relaxing time from impressions of your day.

Located in centre of Riga’s historic Old Centre which with its Art Nouveau and timber buildings has been included in the UNESCO Cultural Heritage List. The hostel is also located in one of the old fashioned buildings built in 19th century. 1830’s renovated building overlooking Doma square (Doma laukums) and Doma church (13th century) – the highest church in Riga. The history of the building in Mazā Jaunavu iela 8 (8 Little Virgin’s street) extends from 1524, when the owner was H.Humpel, but the building was finished in year 1766 .
