The Reef Beach Huts at Sandy Beach offers simple accommodation in rooms located within a courtyard under the sea grape trees, on the roadside of The Reef Beach Cafe & Restaurant. The rooms are secure, each has its own shower and toilet, and you can get two single beds or one double. There is no A/C but all rooms have electric fans and a kettle for hot drinks. Free wifi usually reaches into the rooms also. The room rate includes full breakfast on the beach. We stayed for our first two nights on St Lucia - SO nice to just have a 2 min drive from the airport, then be here - at the beach, with lovely beach cafe/bar. We would never have known about this...
The Reef is located on Sandy Beach, midway between Vieux Fort town and the entrance to Hewanorra International Airport in Vieux Fort, in the south of St Lucia. A taxi from the airport takes about 3 minutes. Direct flights from North America and the UK, but sporadic enough to make sure noise from the airport is minimal.
