Description
Located in the heart of Sihanoukville's entertainment area and only a short walk to Ochheauteal and Serendipity beaches, 'Serendipity Beach Hostel' consists of one three-story dorm block and five single-story blocks of rooms of part wooden construction with grass roofs, giving them an air of rustic charm! In the centre is a pleasant communal area with a wooden mushroom-shaped grass sunshade with and table and chairs in a nice garden setting.
Our Travel Services Office is linked to Koh Rong Travel – the biggest diving company in Sihanoukville offering all levels of dive courses. There is a dive instructor present during the day for advice and information and all courses can be booked directly through our travel services office at reception.
Island ferry tickets and accommodation are also available for Koh Rong, Koh Rong Samloem and Koh Ta Kiev.
Various activities such as fun buggy tours, minigolf, horse riding and paintball tournaments and day trips to the waterfalls are also available.
Onward travel to all major destinations in Cambodia, Thailand and Vietnam with reputable bus companies during the day and night can also be arranged.
We take the safety and security of our guests seriously and the Hostel is surrounded by a 2-3m high metal fence with razor wire on the top to stop intruders from gaining access to the rooms. The gate is locked at night and a security guard from a reputable security firm is present from 11pm until 7am. Unregistered guest are not allowed.
Directions
By Car: The road presently enters Sihanoukville from the west and you should drive through town until you you to the Golden Lion roundabout, which is a prominent landmark in the town that everybody can direct you to should you get lost. Take the second exit and drive up Mithona Street past Monkey Republic on the right until the road bends round to the left. Go straight on, effectively turning left onto Serendipity Beach Road and we are just a few metres along on the right.
From the airport: There is a shuttle bus service or just take a Tuk-Tuk!
From the Bus Station: Just take a Tuk-Tuk!
We don't recommend renting a motobike or scooter as it is illegal for tourists to ride without licence and insurance and can result in severe penalties in the event of a (highly likely) accident.
Policies
Changes or Cancellation by The Led Zephyr
Very occasionally we may need to cancel your Booking. In such circumstances you will be given a full refund but we shall have no further liability to you arising out of such cancellation. We will, however, use reasonable endeavours to try and re-locate any confirmed Booking cancelled by us to an alternative location similar in standard to the Hotel.
Damage
We reserve the right and you hereby authorise us to charge your credit card for any damage incurred to your room or the Hotel during your stay, or for any items that are missing when you leave.
Guest Behaviour
Guests are requested to conduct themselves appropriately at all times and to comply with the Hostel's Terms and Conditions or requests with regard to conduct and respect for the property of the Hotel, its employees and guests and their health and safety. Guests are requested not to disrupt the comfort and enjoyment of other guests, the smooth running of the Hotel, or cause offence to other guests or our members of staff. We reserve the right to refuse accommodation or services or remove you and members of your party from the Hotel if, in our reasonable opinion, we consider this provision to have been breached. Where this is the case shall have no obligation to refund you for lost accommodation, other services or any other loss or expense incurred.
Unregistered guests will not be permitted into guest restricted areas. No illegal activity shall take place on the premises,
Check-in / Checkout Requirements
Guests are required to confirm their identity by providing their booking reference; their Passport and/or identity card and a valid Visa. We reserve the right to take copies of such documents.
Guests may check-in at any time from 2:00pm until 10:30pm on the scheduled day of arrival.
All guests are required to read our current Terms and Conditions upon check in and sign to say they have read, understood and agree to them before access to the accommodation can be granted
Reservations secured by credit card or prepaid will be held until 10:30pm on the day of arrival.
Non-secured reservations will be held until 4.00 p.m. on the day of arrival at which time we will be entitled to re-let the room, unless the guest has notified the hotel of a late arrival.
On the day of departure guests must vacate their beds/rooms by 11:00am. Late check-out after this time is subject to charge and availability of beds/rooms.
Rooms are subject to maximum occupancy rules set by the Hotel.
Payment
We reserve the right to require full payment in advance or a deposit at the time of booking. No Booking shall be treated as confirmed until the details and/or payment/deposit described in this paragraph have been provided. We accept the following methods of payment; Visa, MasterCard and Cash (USD or KHR)
