But we are here to make you comfortable outside your comfort zone!

Our Dead Sea Adventure Hostel is, at the moment, the ONLY backpackers’ hostel in the entire Dead Sea area and the Judean desert.
“How come” you ask? Well, apparently in the entire Judean desert and the Dead Sea area there was no place for backpackers. Yep.
And that’s where we came in, to create the first and right now the only backpackers’ hostel in the region, and the first Adventure Hostel in the Middle East!

With the backpackers’ and adventurers’ needs in mind, we have created the base for all of those who wish to discover the Judean desert and the Dead Sea.
With plenty of hiking trails just outside the door, relaxed atmosphere, cold beer in the fridge and much more, we want to make sure you are ready to head out into the desert wilderness.

The hostel also serves as an information and adventure centre, manned by Wild-Trails professional adventure guides that will give you a one-on-one personal treatment for all your travelling needs. Be it logistics, car rentals, water drops or food, we got you covered.
And of course all the information you might need, for free and with much love.

Directions

Location
Dead Sea Adventure Hostel is located at 68 Odem street, Arad. we are only one and a half hours drive south from Tel Aviv, Jerusalem or Ben Gurion Airport or one and a half hours drive north from Ovda airport.
Our hostel is only 25 min drive from the Dead Sea and Masada.

Once in Arad
BY BUS: take bus number 1 or number 11 from the central station, and get off at the station named "Odem/Mishmar". You'll see our orange fence and a sign that reads ''Welcome Backpackers''.
BY FOOT: From the central bus station walk along "Yehuda" street until you reach the roundabout at the beginning of "Moav" street. Walk along "Moav" street and turn to "Odem" street right after the water station. Continue down the hill and you'll see an orange fence with the sign: "Welcome Backpackers". That's us, just above the road to Masada.

FOR THOSE COMING BY THE DIRECT BUS FROM JERUSALEM:
Get off the bus at "Mo'av/Nof" stop and walk down on Odem street.

Policies

Cancellation policy: 72 hours before check-in.
Failure to cancel within this time limit will result in a cancellation fee equal to the first night of your stay.
Same day cancellations and non-shows will result in a fee equal to the entire reservation cost.
Reservations over 4 nights might be subjected for different policies, please contact for more details.

Taxes not included. According to the Israeli law the prices are for tourists with tourist visa (B2 only). Israeli citizens and non tourist visa (B2) holders must pay VAT (17%). This tax is not automatically calculated in the total cost of the reservation and must be paid at the property.

Reception opening hours 8 am-10 pm.
No curfew.
Our property is not suitable for children.
Age restriction: 18+
No eating inside the rooms and dorms.
No meat at the hostel kitchen.
We don't accept groups over 8 people.
