Spoon and the Stars Budget Accommodation is nestled in Boyne Valley surrounded by Newgrange, Battle of the Boyne, Bettystown & Laytown's 14 Km beach and a traffic free 20 min journey to Dublin Airport.
Rory and Hannah spent the last few Years renovating this beautiful old Georgian building to a high standard which they are now proud to share. Our objective is to provide a cozy, relaxed and affordable environment for anyone wishing to visit our lovely Medieval town of Drogheda and the Boyne Valley historical area along with Irelands Ancient east.
Drogheda has lots of history and character with a great Art Gallery( The Highlanes), Millmount and some pretty interesting church stories (Oliver Plunket) and cool graveyards.
Really good pub scene and lots of great Artists!!!!

Directions

Bus and train stations are 5 min walk with bus stop outside front door.

From Dublin to Drogheda (approx. 30 mins)
Follow the signs for the M1 Belfast, after around 20 minutes take the turn of at junction 7 for Julianstown / Drogheda South. Follow the signs for Drogheda town centre. Carry on down the Dublin Road under the bridge and past the train station until you see the signs for' spoon and the stars' on the terrace house's on your left.We are the first house beside Enterprise car rental.

From Belfast to Drogheda (approx. 1h 20mins)
From Belfast city centre follow the signs for the M1 motorway. Follow the signs for Newry. As you approach the outskirts of Newry follow the by-pass avoiding the town centre following the directions for Dublin . Crossing the border heading south, arrive at Dundalk and again following the N1 signs. Continuing past the Xerox Technology Park go through two roundabouts following the signs for Drogheda North (N51). As you cross over the river on the Dublin Road keep going past the bus station and 3 sets of lights we are the last house on the right when you pass St.Marys church and scotch hall.

Policies

48 hour cancellation policy which starts at 11am from day of back. The first nights fee will be charged as a result.

All guests must provide Photo Identification upon arrival which needs to be a passport or Driving Licence. Irish PPS cards will not be excepted.
All group bookings must be pre-approved with deposit terms agreed.
Children are welcome but must stay in private rooms unless the full dorm is booked by the family/group to make it a private room.
Noise or damage will incur extra fees to cover all costs.
