Originally a 19th century church, now converted into quality budget accommodation and a licensed restaurant. The Inversnaid Bunkhouse is a unique Scottish hostel in Stirling, Stirlingshire with facilities catered for travellers and walkers including our outside hot tub! Complete with original stained glass windows, in a truly serene setting, the Scottish bunkhouse provides a welcoming retreat in a totally unspoilt part of Scotland. We are located on the east shore of Loch Lomond, bunkhouse accommodation only 800m from the West Highland Way, in the heart of Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park.

From Glasgow

Leave the M8 at junction 16 & stay in right hand lane on slip road. Turn right onto A879, towards MILNGAVIE. Stay on A879 until roundabout (c. 4.5 miles?). At roundabout, take 2nd exit onto A807, still towards Milngavie (1.1 miles). At t-junction/traffic lights, turn right onto A81. Stay on
A81 until reaching Aberfoyle. At end of Aberfoyle main street take the B829 to Kinlochard/Stronachler/Inversnaid. Simply follow this road for about 30 minutes until well on you way to Loch Lomond. It’s single track so drive carefully. After passing the dam at Lock Arklet look out for the church on your left hand side; if you go too far you will end up at a dead end at the Inversnaid Hotel. Turn around and go back; it’s only 2 minutes away. Any problems, just give us a call.

Leave Stirling along A811. Turn right at Buchlyvie at B835. Turn right onto A81 towards Gartmore & Aberfoyle. Stay on the A81 until you reach Aberfoyle. At end of Aberfoyle main street take the B829 to Kinlochard/Stronachler/Inversnaid. Simply follow this road for about 30 minutes until well on you way to Loch Lomond. Cancellations/refunds can be made 2 weeks before arrival.

Full refunds are awarded to reservations cancelled 2 weeks or more prior to arrival date. Bookings cancelled within two weeks of arrival date will be charged full price.
