Prime Backpackers Angel is situated in a beautiful historic building in a great location in trendy Islington. Free high speed WiFi in all areas, a magnificent fully equipped kitchen, a chill-out lounge to while away the hours and make new best friends, and comfortable beds to get a good night’s sleep. There is no bar on site, so you can sample the many local pubs or bring your own booze back. We host lots of fun events, movie nights, games evenings and delicious dinners which all can enjoy - to name a few.

Our property is just moments from the bars, restaurants and nightlife of Upper Street and Shoreditch, and 150 metres from Angel tube station which gets you to all of the best parts of London in minutes. Islington is a vibrant part of London. On the edge of the City business district, and yet still a traditional local community. It has been the home to reformists for centuries, so behind that elegant facade lies the beating heart of change. As well as being the home to the mighty Arsenal FC, Islington is home to many local attractions that will let you see a different side of London than the normal tourist haunts.

We offer free tea and coffee all day, a free computer, TV, board games, book exchange, hairdryers, travel advice, and towel hire. Feel safe at Prime Angel with 24 hour security and CCTV. We have lockers (bring your own padlock) and luggage storage on the day of arrival and departure.

Directions

We are located in the heart of London, in between Kings Cross and Shoreditch. The hostel is 5min walking from Angel tube station, 10min from Kings Cross (by bus), and 20min from Liverpool Street Station (by bus).
You can explore London by foot, bus, or tube. Most sights are within walking distance (around 30-40 min walking), or by public transport within 10-20min.

Directions From London Airports:
Take public transport to Central London.

Directions From London Railway Stations:
The closest mainline stations are King Cross and St Pancras, and Liverpool Street Station. From Kings Cross, you can reach Prime by taking the underground.
The closest underground station is Angel which is only 400 metres away.
Catch the Northern Line (in the direction to Morden) and get off at Angel station.
When you exit the station, turn left, at the corner turn left again, heading along City Road. Baggies is on your left.
Or you can catch a bus, from St Pancras station exit on Euston Road. You can get the 205 or the 214.
Hop off at City Road, Baggies is 50 metres from the bus stop on the left.

From Liverpool Street Station take bus 205 direction Paddington and get off of Central Street stop (first stop after the McDonalds). Follow the street for 200m and the hostel will come on your right hand side.

Policies

All bookings are non-refundable and have to be paid in full directly after making the reservation.


We do not accommodate hen or stag parties. Any group bigger than 6 people has to contact us before making the booking.
Guests under the age of 18 need to be accompanied by a person of legal age, and are only allowed in the private rooms.

All guests are required to bring a valid photo id/passport (drivers licence is accepted) - work passes, insurance cards or similar are not accepted, and a cash deposit of £10.00 (10€) per key.
