Description

Art Hostel is the first social enterprise in the UK, providing affordable accommodation created by artists. Situated within a converted seed warehouse on the oldest street in Leeds city centre. The project has been developed by contemporary arts’ charity East Street Arts who have been supporting artists locally and internationally for over 25 years.

Leeds has a thriving independent grassroots and DIY art scene and Art Hostel contributes to the experience of visiting and staying in Leeds, encouraging visitors to access the artistic underbelly. We provide the physical infrastructure for you to get involved: to make, create, debate, sleep and explore .

Directions

Coach Station (3 minute walk)
*Exit the Coach Station via the York Street exit.
*Turn right onto York Street.
*Walk straight for about 100 metres.
*Turn Left onto Harper Street.
*The hostel is facing you at the end of Harper Street on Kirkgate.

Train Station (10 minute walk)
* Exit the Train station via New Station Street Exit
*Turn right onto New Station Street
*Walk for about 50 metres
*Turn right onto Boar Lane
*Walk straight onto Duncan Street
*Keep walking straight onto Call Lane
*Walk past the Corn Exchange on your right hand-side
*Turn right onto Kirkgate
*Walk for about 150 metres

We have a 48 hour cancellation policy. In the event of a late cancellation or No show you will be charged for the first nights accommodation.
