Oasis Backpackers Malaga

Calle San Telmo 14, Malaga, Andalucia, Spain

Description

We have a saying at Oasis Backpacker's Hostel Malaga – if you can't meet anyone here, you can't meet anyone anywhere! Or maybe that was, ‘why do my socks smell like tequila?’ Either way, with cheap drinks, two bars and endless activities, we keep travellers mingling all night long. We want everyone to join in the fun. Whether we're spending the day basking in the warm Andalusian sun at one of Malaga's many beaches (yes, even in the winter), sipping cocktails while looking out over the skyline on our rooftop bar or stumbling through the historic centre after one of our famous nights out, you will be welcomed into the family...Oasis style! We could tell you about our amazing central location right in the historic city centre, just few meters away from the liveliest nightlife...or our beautiful building next to the Thyssen Museum...or our spacious and modern dorms and free Wi-Fi...or our futuristic coffee maker...but this is Oasis. That stuff is standard. Instead, we would like to let you know our philosophy:Our hostel, by choice, is a party hostel. We believe that you should have a cheap bed, clean room and a drink in your hand. We believe that a hostel is a place for meeting other interesting travellers before sleeping with them (take that how you want). We also know while we might not be the best place for getting a good night’s sleep we are definitely the best place for staying up in Malaga. Besides, you can sleep on the beach.Everything we do, whether it's our free walking tours, Beer Olympics, Not-so-pub-crawl Pub Crawls or endless array of other activities, our aim is to give you the best damn time in Malaga. Our staff have all undergone numerous training regiments in cultural, social and musical revolutions. Come stay with us in Malaga and we'll do our best to help you forget you ever did.

“Great. Convenient. Good value.”

Great location. Friendly staff and even a rooftop bar. We have realised that an apartment is about the same price as a hotel and much more flexible. Living room and bedroom. Very close to everything...

Directions

On foot:Follow the signs for Malaga Port (Puerto). As you reach the port with the sea to your right, look to the left where you will see (on the other side of the fountain) Barclays bank on the corner of Calle Larios. At the end of Calle Larios is Plaza de la Constitucion (Square). Take the street up where the Stradivarius shop is in the corner. Take the first street on the left, where the ice cream shop with pink frontage is on the corner (it's called Smoov). Then take another left when you reach Correos (Post Office). You are now in Calle San Telmo. Look for the Oasis sign and follow the street until you reach us.From the bus station:Take bus number 4 and get off at Alameda Principal. Walk towards Calle Larios - it's the main street that turns left - and go straight up until you reach Plaza de la Constitucion. From here, follow Calle Caldereria and turn left on the second street, Calle Santa Lucia, find the Post Office and turn left, keep walking, look for number 14.
