Huge garden panoramic communal room, with kitchen, fridge, free WIFI, hammocks. Camping, cabanas, dorm beds available. The horses wander around the hostel garden and seasonal fruits are free to harvest. The hostel staff makes your experience his number one priority and can answer any enquirers. The hostel is 10 minutes walk from the authentic fisherman village of Sarteneja, nested between jungle and the Caribbean sea, and 3 miles away from the Shipstern Nature Reserve. Coming from Mexico and Corozal
Bus from Corozal to Sarteneja, direct Mon-Sat, leaving from Corozal bus terminal at 3 pm – US$4
Boats from Corozal pier to Sarteneja
Every day at 7am with the Thunderbolt Water Taxi – US$13

Coming from Belize City
Bus going straight to Sarteneja, via Orange walk, Monday to Saturday leaving next to the swing bridge at 10:15 am, 11:45 am, 3.45 pm and 4:45 pm (No 4:45 pm on Saturdays) –
US$8.
No Bus on Sunday !
Ask the bus driver to drop you at the hostel, you will go down at the sign WELCOME TO SARTENEJA –Here is the sign Backpackers Paradise, just follow it it s is a two minute walk from thereon the right

Policies

A full payment is needed to complete the booking. A 48h grace period is issues after the booking is made to cancelled and get the refund. After this grace period no refund will be given in a case of cancellation. In case of a no show, the full amount of the stay will be charged.
