There is so much to see and do in the Cardwell and Hinchinbrook Area! Why not visit our stunning local Swimming Holes, such as Murray Falls, the Spa Pool, Attie Creek Falls and Five Mile Swimming Hole?
Of course, we also have the Spectacular Hinchinbrook Island, right on our doorstep, you can book a day trip or if you are more adventurous you could book yourself in for the three day Thorsborne Trail trek. With stunning waterfalls to camp by and only a few people allowed on the Island at one time due to its Heritage listing, it will certainly be a trip to remember!
The Cardwell Foreshore has recently been completed with walking tracks right along the front. There are new playgrounds for the kids both down at the beach and at Coral Sea Memorial Park, with BBQ facilities and eating areas, perfect for picnics!
And THEN.........there's the FISHING!!! Gotta love that!!!
Hinchinbrook - For those of you who aren't Fishing Enthusiasts and don't realise - Hinchinbrook is THE Fishing MECCA!!! With so many varieties of fish - we HAVE to mention Barramundi and Mangrove Jack as a few favourites - as well as huge Mud Crabs, what are you waiting for!!! For those that don't have a boat, you can fish off the jetty, the beach or the rocks down at Port Hinchinbrook. Or, why not hire a tinny and have a go in the estuaries? You might even see a croc or two.....
