Description

We are situated only 100 metres from the heart of the city, and the beaches. Our accommodation includes singles, twin, doubles, and dorm style rooms, all of which are clean and comfortable. We have seperate male and female communal bathrooms, laundry facilities, a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, lounge and games room. Our gardens and barbeque area are the perfect place to relax and meet new friends!

We offer bike hire, tour and accommodation booking service and information for exploring the nearby forrests, beaches and wineries.

Bunbury is the Gateway to the South West and offers something for everyone. Whether it be getting back to nature and visiting our friendly dolphins, feeding the local kangaroos or taking a walk through the Tuart Forrest or 10,000 year old mangroves. Head to one of our golden sandy beaches where you can try body boarding in the surf at Back Beach or have a more relaxed swim in the calm waters of Koombana Bay.

For the more adventurous traveller you can Sea Kayak with the dolphins, explore W.A's newest dive wreck; The Lena or head for the sky by taking the controls and flying a small plane. In the evening visit one of the many restaurants, cafes, bars or one of our three nightclubs to end what would have been a perfect day.

How could we forget our free home made cake and coffee every day at 6.30pm when everyone gets together to share stories, have fun and make new friends.

Directions

Bunbury is the gateway to the South West of Australia and is surrounded by wineries and nature and is only 90 minutes away from Perth! Dolphin Retreat is lcoated 5 minutes walk to the beach, cafe strip, bus station, visitor information centre, shopping centre, night life and main street.

To travel from Bunbury from the capital city, Perth, you may catch the train or bus. Please email us for the latest transport details.

Perth Airport to Central Train Station Perth
Book a bus from the Airport to the Wellington Street Train Station (this is the train stop in the city centre of Perth). The company is Airport Connect.

If you travel on the Train - catch the morning train to Bunbury and there will be a free bus on Mon' to Sat' to take you to the city centre bus station (next to the Visitor Information Centre). There is a train on Sunday but there is no free bus on Sunday.

The hostel is 10 minutes walk from the Bunbury city centre bus station. If you catch the afternoon train you will have to catch a taxi to the hostel. (The train station is 4km away from the city centre).
If you travel on the Bus - You need to ensure that the bus takes you to the city centre bus station and not the train station. South West Coach Lines drops passengers off at the city centre bus station. Only some TRANSWA buses will take you to the city centre bus station so we recommend you check that if you take this bus line, that they will drop you at the city centre station.

Policies

If you wish to cancel or change your booking, you must notify us at least 48 hours prior to the day of your booking. If you fail to provide 48 hours notice prior to cancellation, you will be charged for the first night of accommodation you had originally booked. By confirming your reservation at Wander Inn with credit card details, you agree to the above terms of the booking. Once accommodation has been paid for in full on arrival at the hostel it is non refundable. The acceptance of changes to bookings is solely at the discretion of management.

GROUP BOOKINGS - Bookings for more than 6 people will be considered a group booking. The accommodation must be paid in full at least 28 days prior to check-in or your reservation will be cancelled. You must agree to all Group Booking terms and conditions that can be forwarded to you for acceptance by contacting us.
