HI Hostel Rijeka is located a 100 m from the sea, in an old villa from 19th century, in the part of the town called Pecine, only 1.5 km from the city center.
The capacity of the hostel is 61 bed arranged in 13 rooms with central heating and almost every room has TWC. Our private rooms have air conditioning. All rooms have lockers. HI Hostel Rijeka offers bed and breakfast and for groups (10+) HB and FB. In the common area there are vending machines for drinks and snacks. Shared dining room is available as well as living room with TV. Free WI-FI is available.
In front of the hostel there is a specious terrace with the sea view. The hostel is surronded with park and playground with table tennis while nearby you can find beautiful beaches and tennis corts. Large shopping center is only 1.5 km away.
Local bus station (Line 1) is close to the hostel. Free public parking is available on the street. The official bus parking in Rijeka is in Milutina Baraca Street which is 7 km distance from the hostel.
The price DOES NOT include tourist tax. Tourist tax per person per night is 2.00 €. Children under 12 do not pay the tourist tax, people between 12 and 29 pay 50% of the tourist tax price. School groups do not have to pay the tourist tax by providing the school-trip approval.
For a group reservation (20+) there is a discount.

Como llegar

We are located at the eastern part of the city, named Pecine, approximately 1,5 km from the town centre/main bus station for international lines or 2 km from the railway station. The entrance to the hostel is close the bus station.

FROM THE RAILWAY STATION
At the exit of the railway station (on the right side) there is a bus station for the eastern part of the city. Catch the bus line number 1. Get off at the 7th bus stop.
FROM THE MAIN BUS STATION (ZABICA)
The bus stop is on the sea side (line number 1). Take off at the 5th bus stop.
We suggest that you buy a 2-way bus ticket (ZONE 1) outside the bus (at a newspaper stand). In the bus you can only buy a 1-way ticket which is more expensive. The price of a 2-way ticket is 15,50 kuna.
FROM THE AIRPORT RIJEKA/KRK (Omišalj)
The airport company organizes transport from the airport to the city centre (main bus station Zabica).
BY CAR
When you arrive to the city centre, drive towards Split. When the road splits, left leading to Trsat and right leading to Split, continue toward Split. The hostel is some 500 meters from the detour.
BY BOAT/FERRY
There is a bus stop by the Rijeka harbour. Get off the bus number 1 on the 4th bus stop.

The guest can cancel free of charge until 7 days before arrival. The guest will be charged the first night if they cancel in the 7 days before arrival.
