Como llegar
By Bus: Get off the bus at Fishers Hotel, walk up the main street ( you will be walking uphill, not downhill!). After about 2 minutes you will be on our doorstep. We are on the right hand side on the corner opposite MacKays Hotel and our main entrance is situated between the soap shop & the pound shop.
By Train: From the North you will arrive on the correct platform, from The South, you must cross over the railway bridge and make your way to the exit of the station. At the exit, turn left and follow the road up to the main street and you will see MacKays Hotel in front of you. We are the building on the corner opposite MacKays and our main entrance is between the soap shop & the pound shop. This should take you about 2 minutes.
By Car: From the North you will arrive into Pitlochry High Street and will see Mackays Hotel on a corner on your left hand side. Take the left turn here into Birnham Place, follow for short distance and turn right. You will see the entrance to our car park on your right hand side. Once parked, head back down to Mackays Hotel and turn left onto Atholl Road. You will see our front entrance on your left in between the pound shop & the soap shop.
From the South, drive straight up the main street until you see Mackays Hotel on your right. Take the right hand turn into Birnham Place, go uphill a short distance, turn right and you will see the entrance to our car park on your right hand side.

Cancellations made more than 24 hours prior to arrival will receive a 90% refund.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to arrival are non-refundable.
(Please note that in order to receive a 90% refund; you must cancel prior to 12.00 noon the day before your booking is due to commence).
Group Bookings:
To make a booking for a group of 6 guests or more, please contact us.
Group Cancellation Policy:
If a booking is cancelled 21 days or more before it is due to commence, we will refund 90%
If a booking is cancelled 14-20 days before it is due to commence, we will refund 50%
If a booking is cancelled 7-13 days before it is due to commence, we will refund 25%
If a booking is cancelled less than 7 days before it is due to commence, we will refund 0%
Please Note:
Please bring suitable photographic identification – you will need it to check-in to our hostel.
If any guest within your booking is under the age of 18 you MUST contact us before making the reservation online.
Check In/Out Procedures:
Check in is from 14.30pm, but early arrivals are welcome to store their luggage and use the hostel facilities and common areas. Please feel free to help yourself to complimentary tea, coffee and hot chocolate.
If you think you may arrive later than 22:00pm, please give us a call so that we may inform our night porter of your late arrival. We are open for check-in up until 02:00am. Please note, we cannot accept arrivals later than this, as the premises are locked between 02:00am and 07:00am daily.
A refundable deposit of £10 cash or a valid photographic ID will be required for the dormitory room keys.
Check out is by 10.30am on the day of your departure
We have a range of different rooms within our hostel that include private and dormitory style rooms. Children are welcome in our hostel and we have several private rooms and a family room that sleeps 4. If your family group is larger than 4, please note the following policy.
We can only accept families with children within a dormitory room if a whole room has been booked for sole occupancy. We cannot accommodate children in dorm rooms with other guests.
Unfortunately, due to past experiences, we do not accept stag or hen parties.
