Welcome to Magic Paradise Hostel in Playa Paraíso, Isla Grande, Islas del Rosario. Magical? In addition to meeting wonderful people from many places and cultures of the world, you will be thrilled to dive into the lagoon with phytoplankton (bioluminescence). Magical? We are surrounded by a crystalline sea that allows us to observe marine and coral species at a very shallow depth, and a few meters from the beach. Magical? The nature created for you wonderful internal channels covered with mangroves and that you can navigate in Kayaks. Magical? The music of the Caribbean in our pool or beach bar, day or night, will make you remember this place forever. In addition, you can visit beautiful beaches in the surroundings of the island, visit the hamlet of the native village of Orika or immerse yourself on the old submerged plane. We are here to show you everything and make your trip very special. Remember that we are a beach eco-hostel without many amenities, but with the best environment to enjoy friends and nature.

Playa Paraíso Secreto, Isla Grande, Islas del Rosario, Cartagena, Colombia. 45 minutes away by motor boat starting from the Tourist Wharf of La Bodeguita in Cartagena.

Cancellations that are made less than 48 hours prior to the arrival date, the Hostel is entitled to charge a cancellation fee in the amount on the agreed price of the first night.
Cancellation requests must be made in writing and will be received by email only via: bookings@magicparadisehostel.com
In case of Non-Show the hostel will charge a fee equals to the agreed price of the first night.
The Hostel don't have luxuries. We are a hostel in the middle of nature, surrounded by mangroves and bodies of water. Even after fumigating, it is possible to find small insects in our facilities. Due to weather conditions and infrastructure, it is possible that small maintenance events appear, but we will always be attentive to solve them. Our Hostel does not count on aid for disabled people. In Isla Grande there are no medical services to deal with emergencies, nor a store that sells specialized medicines. To take care of health emergencies, the Hostel goes to call the coast guard, who is responsible for transferring the affected person to the urban area of Cartagena, which takes about 60 minutes by sea by motor boat. Guests are advised to bring their basic and specialized medications, as well as their toiletries from Cartagena before taking the boat to come to Isla Grande Islas del Rosario. For all these conditions, our Hostel does not recommend that people over 60 stay in our facilities. Children under 16 years old can not stay at this establishment.
