Well, that was fun, I really enjoyed putting this shortlist together, even though I’m now longing to be beach-bound….perhaps if you all comment & share this enough I will be rewarded with a few days off to go building sand-castles.
There are, of course, many more beach hostels to choose from on hostelculture.com - this list is merely a few grains of sand on a veritable dune of hostels near the sea which you can book cheaper than on other hostel booking sites.
