Keeping to a budget can be tough - and I find that it's food that always seems to end up eating away at my money (excuse the terrible pun!) But with these easy 3-ingredient recipes, you'll keep your wallet and your stomach full!
1. Gluten Free Pancakes

Needed: Banana, Eggs and Cinnamon.
2. Kale and Avocado Salad
Gotta love a bit of kale...and you can take it with you to eat as a packed lunch! Find it here.
Needed: Kale, Avocado and Lemon.
3. Mac & Cheese
EVERYONE loves the home comfort of a good ol' mac & cheese. And just cause you're traveling doesn't mean you can't have your fave meal! Here you go.
Needed: Almond milk (or normal milk..), Macaroni and Cheese.
4. Quinoa Salad
If you have this for lunch, it'll fill ya right up till dinner. Just think of all that extra protein you're getting!
Needed: Quinoa, Avocado and Feta Cheese.
5. Snickers Cups
If you make a batch of these then you'll immediately be making friends in the hostel! Although the recipe asks for vegan chocolate...I'm sure you can substitute.
Needed: Dried Dates, Peanut Butter and Chocolate.
6. Warming Chili
Perfect for warming up those long winter nights on the road...and if you make enough you'll have leftovers for the next day! Hitting two birds with one stone!
Needed: Mince, Chili Beans and Canned Tomatoes.
7. Cod with Chorizo and Tomatoes
Ok, I'm sorry. This is 4-ingredients. Don't kill me. But it looked so delicious. You may as well become a fine dining chef after you recreate this.
Needed: Olive Oil, Cod, Tomatoes and Chorizo.
8. Pulled Pork
Perfect to pop in a sandwich, or put on top of nachos, or anything really. There is nothing that this pulled pork won't go with.
Needed: Pork, Coca-Cola and Red Onion.
9. Nutella Brownies
Mmmmmmmmm. Again, perfect for when you're looking to make some buddies. You will never regret these brownies, ever.
Needed: Nutella (or similar), Plain Flour and Eggs.
10. Coca-Cola Chicken
Quick, easy, delicious. What more could you want?
Needed: Chicken, Coca-Cola and Water.
11. Chicken Caprese Salad
Perfect summer salad to eat while lounging in the park, sunbathing. Can you imagine it? I can. It's a dream come true.
Needed: Bocconcini (little mozzarella balls that come in some oil), Chicken and Tomatoes.
12. Grains, Beans and Bacon Salad
Easy to prepare, easy to eat on the go. Just remember to bring a fork for this scrum-diddley-umptious salad!
