Mosaic Hostel

105 Derb Al Farane Riad Laarousse Medina

Description

Our beautiful hostel is within a traditional moroccan tiled house with 150 years of history, previously owned and lived by a Moroccan family. Now renovated into a comfortable hostel with spacious rooms, we not only have dorm room options, but also private rooms with private bathrooms.
The name Mosaic refers to both the lovely traditional designs of the house itself and the mix of wonderful guests to come and enjoy our hospitality and the incredible views of the old medina, Marrakech, and the Atlas mountains.
This traditional Moroccan house is within "Riad Laarousse" neighborhood a famous part of old Marrakech, but the hostel and our facilities are all brand new and clean!

Directions

We can pick you up from the airport or from the bus or train station ( please request it in advance by email).
Beware of some people at the stations or in the streets, who might try to convince you to go to a different hotel, or might offer themselves to walk with you to our hostel. Usually their objective is to receive money from you. Just ignore them.

By Taxi:
Ask the driver to take you to « Riad Laarousse » in front of « Pharmacie Populaire » which is well known. Facing the pharmacy take the road beside it on the right called « Rue Sidi Abd El Aziz » at the second left, after a 2 min walk ( you pass around 23 shops) turn into « Derb Al Farane » take 2 more first left turns, and you will see our Blue door with yellow Flowers. You can also check out the video which shows you how to get from « Pharmacie populaire ».

WALKING:
After you leave the bus stop, keep the big mosque on your left, and look for the smaller road between the cafe “Kif Kif” and a 24/7 car park. This street is called “Boulevard Fatima Zahra” but locals know it is “Rmila”. Follow this road to « Dar El Bacha » on your right ( you will see a soldier standing there 24 hours). Continue straight on until you see a small car park on your left. Keep to the right side of the road and take the right fork. keep going till the end then turn right you will see the « Pharmacie Populaire » Follow the rest of the directions above for “by taxi”.
