So Cool Hostel Porto

The So Cool Hostel Porto building was built before 1890 and fully restored in 2013, and together with our staff, we have created a cozy environment, so that our guests feel at home. You can choose to stay in one of the sleeping comfortable dorms or in one of the double rooms.

You can listen to music, watch TV/DVD, read a book or just take a rest in the common areas. In our beautiful and spacious garden you can sunbath, chill out and enjoy one of the excellent wines from our cellar. In our kitchen we invite you to prepare your meals, and don’t miss our special Portuguese dinners.

The So Cool Hostel Porto is located 5 minutes (walking) from the Rotunda da Boavista (near Casa da Música), 10 minutes (walking) from the old town, where you can find the most important cultural focus with art galleries, theaters, restaurants, bars and nightclubs. 10 min (bus) is the time you take to reach Serralves House, with its Contemporary Art Museum, with 5 minutes more of travel, you can sit down in great terraces, admire the sea and eat a tasty fish.

So, due to its location, our Hostel is near everything, but yet, far away from the noisy area of the Town. The central location of the So Cool Hostel Porto allows you to easily access the public transport network, that will take you to anywhere in the city, its surroundings and other places of beautiful Portugal!
